I started designing patterns when studying my fine art degree at Barcelona University, and from that moment I haven’t been able to stop!
That was a while ago… but I’ve never stopped asking myself… why is it pink for girls and blue for boys? After all 90 years ago boys wore pink and girls blue. Why was pink considered more masculine and blue more feminine?
Also why do bears represent winter when they hibernate, and yet love to go swimming in the summer?
I have designed patterns that are different and avoid the usual clichés. They are produced in black and white, or are multi-coloured, in black, pink, fuchsia, green or brown. They’re for babies, boys, girls and adults.
I like to explore, dream, imagine and have fun…
I design prints for clothing, wrapping paper, celebration cards, wall stickers and wallpaper, tiles, shower curtains, rugs, blankets, aprons and swimming costumes…
Can you think of anything else?
My dream? To reach for the stars…and design a print for a Boeing 787!
